śrutvākrūra-vacaḥ kṛṣṇo
balaś ca para-vīra-hā
prahasya nandaṁ pitaraṁ
rājñā diṣṭaṁ vijajñatuḥ

śrutvā — hearing; akrūra-vacaḥ — Akrūra’s words; kṛṣṇaḥ — Lord Kṛṣṇa; balaḥ — Lord Balarāma; ca — and; para-vīra — of opposing heroes; — the destroyer; prahasya — laughing; nandam — to Nanda Mahārāja; pitaram — Their father; rājñā — by the King; diṣṭam — the order given; vijajñatuḥ — They informed.

Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Balarāma, the vanquisher of heroic opponents, laughed when They heard Akrūra’s words. The Lords then informed Their father, Nanda Mahārāja, of King Kaṁsa’s orders.
