eteka vilāpa kari’ premāveśe gaurahari,
ei arthe paḍe eka śloka
yei śloka paḍi’ rādhā, viśākhāre kahe bādhā,
ughāḍiyā hṛdayera śoka
eteka — thus; vilāpa kari’ — lamenting; prema-āveśe — in ecstatic love of Kṛṣṇa; gaurahari — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ei arthe — in understanding the purport; paḍe — recites; eka śloka — one verse; yei śloka — which verse; paḍi’ — reciting; rādhā — Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; viśākhāre — to Viśākhā; kahe — says; bādhā — obstacle; ughāḍiyā — exposing; hṛdayera — of the heart; śoka — lamentation.
Lamenting in ecstatic love, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu then recited the following verse, which was spoken by Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī while exposing the lamentation of Her heart to Her friend Śrīmatī Viśākhā.
