pauṣa-māse āila duṅhe sāmagrī kariyā
sandhyā-paryanta rahe apekṣā kariyā
pauṣa-māse — the month of Pauṣa (December-January); āila — came; duṅhe — Śivānanda Sena and Jagadānanda; sāmagrī kariyā — making all arrangements; sandhyā-paryanta — until the evening; rahe — remain; apekṣā kariyā — waiting.
When the month of Pauṣa arrived, Jagadānanda and Śivānanda collected all kinds of paraphernalia for the Lord’s reception. Every day, they would wait until evening for the Lord to come.
