On the Way to Kṛṣṇa was prepared from the transcripts of lectures Śrīla Prabhupāda gave in New York in the fall of 1966 on the Bhagavad-gītā. The editor was Śrīla Prabhupāda's disciple Hayagrīva Dāsa (Howard Wheeler, M.A.).
