eta śuni’ mahā-pātra āviṣṭa hañā
prabhuke karena stuti caraṇe dhariyā
eta śuni’—al escuchar esto; mahā-pātra—el representante del gobierno de Orissa; āviṣṭa hañā—sobrecogido; prabhuke—a Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; karena—hace; stuti—oraciones; caraṇe dhariyā—tomándose de Sus pies.
Upon hearing the governor’s submissive statement, the mahā-pātra was overwhelmed with joy. He clasped the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and began to offer the following prayers.
