tad avetyāsitāpāṅgī
vaidarbhī durmanā bhṛśam
vicintyāptaṁ dvijaṁ kañcit
kṛṣṇāya prāhiṇod drutam

tat — that; avetya — knowing; asita — dark; apāṅgī — the corners of whose eyes; vaidarbhī — the princess of Vidarbha; durmanā — unhappy; bhṛśam — very much; vicintya — thinking; āptam — reliable; dvijambrāhmaṇa; kañcit — a certain; kṛṣṇāya — to Kṛṣṇa; prāhiṇot — sent; drutam — with haste.

Dark-eyed Vaidarbhī was aware of this plan, and it deeply upset her. Analyzing the situation, she quickly sent a trustworthy brāhmaṇa to Kṛṣṇa.
