‘mahotsava’-nāma śuni’ brāhmaṇa-sajjana
āsite lāgila loka asaṅkhya-gaṇana
mahotsava—festival; nāma—el nombre; śuni’—al escuchar; brāhmaṇa-sat-jana—brāhmaṇas y otros hombres respetables; āsite lāgila—comenzaron a llegar; loka—gente; asaṅkhya-gaṇana—innumerables.
Tan pronto como escucharon que se iba a celebrar un festival, comenzaron a llegar toda clase de brāhmaṇas y otras gentes respetables. Se reunió así una enorme multitud.
