yadyapi premāveśe prabhu hailā asthira
samaya bujhiyā prabhu hailā kichu dhīra
yadyapi—aunque; prema-āveśe—con amor extático; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; hailā—Se sintió; asthira—agitado; samaya bujhiyā—entendiendo el momento y el lugar; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; hailā—quedó; kichu—en cierta medida; dhīra—paciente.
Con sólo recordar los pasatiempos del Señor Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu Se vio agitado por el amor extático. Pero, considerando el momento y el lugar, en cierta medida logró mantener la paciencia.
