sākṣāte nā dekhile mane pratīti nā haya
ihāṅ yadi rahena, tabu nāhi kichu bhaya’
sākṣāte—directamente; nā—no; dekhile—si ven; mane—en la mente; pratīti—seguridad; nā—no; haya—hay; ihāṅ—aquí; yadi—si; rahena—el Señor Se queda; tabu—aun así; nāhi—no hay; kichu—ningún; bhaya—temor.
El brāhmaṇa pensó entonces que la gente no creería que la Deidad de Gopāla había venido con él mientras no Le viesen con sus propios ojos. «Pero si Gopāla Se queda aquí —pensó—, tampoco hay nada que temer.»
