tṛṣita cātaka yaiche kare hāhākāra
taiche ei saba, — sabe kara aṅgīkāra
tṛṣita — thirsty; cātaka — the cātaka bird; yaiche — just as; kare — does; hāhā-kāra — vibration of disappointment; taiche — similarly; ei saba — all of these; sabe — all of them; kara aṅgīkāra — kindly accept.
“In Your absence all these people have been exactly like thirsty cātaka birds crying in disappointment. Kindly accept them.”
