tat-sutaḥ kevalas tasmād
dhundhumān vegavāṁs tataḥ
budhas tasyābhavad yasya
tṛṇabindur mahīpatiḥ
tat-sutaḥ — o filho dele (Nara); kevalaḥ — chamava-se Kevala; tasmāt — dele (Kevala); dhundhumān — nasceu um filho chamado Dhundhumān; vegavān — chamado Vegavān; tataḥ — dele (Dhundhumān); budhaḥ — chamado Budha; tasya — dele (Vegavān); abhavat — havia; yasya — de quem (Budha); tṛṇabinduḥ — um filho chamado Tṛṇabindu; mahīpatiḥ — o rei.
O filho de Nara foi Kevala, e seu filho foi Dhundhumān, cujo filho foi Vegavān. O filho de Vegavān foi Budha, e o filho de Budha foi Tṛṇabindu, que se tornou o rei desta Terra.
