maitreya uvāca
iti tasya vacaḥ śrutvā
trayas te vibudharṣabhāḥ
pratyāhuḥ ślakṣṇayā vācā
prahasya tam ṛṣiṁ prabho
maitreyaḥ uvāca—el sabio Maitreya dijo; iti—así; tasya—sus; vacaḥ—palabras; śrutvā—después de escuchar; trayaḥ te—los tres; vibudha—semidioses; ṛṣabhāḥ—principales; pratyāhuḥ—contestaron; ślakṣṇayā—amables; vācā—palabras; prahasya—sonriendo; tam—a él; ṛṣim—al gran sabio; prabho—¡oh, poderoso!
The great sage Maitreya continued: Upon hearing Atri Muni speak in that way, the three great deities smiled, and they replied in the following sweet words.
